News- Jet Car Stunts Coming To Vita

Grip Digital will be bringing Jet Car Stunts to the Vita. The game will launch on the PS3 and PS4 as well.

In Jet Car Stunts players will race Jet Cars across 36 challenging tracks. Each track contains moving platforms, spirals, and lots of challenges. The game will also three different game modes. However the press release only mentions one game mode which is puzzle mode. We can imagine the other two are time trial or competitive.

Extra- Ragnarok Oddyssey Ace Giveaway

We have a code for Ragnarok Oddyssey Ace for the ps3. Now we know we are a Vita site, however we believe the game is cross-buy. So you should get a code for the Vita version.

News- Hand Of Fate Announced For Vita

Successfully funded kickstarter "Hand Of Fate" has been announced to be coming to Vita. Hand Of Fate will be coming to both the Vita and PS4.

Hand Of Fate is a rogue-like card game for the Vita. You will be able to buy Cards seperatley and insert your characters into a 3D world to battle it out.

There has been no specifics released on price, release date, cross-buy, or cross-play. Keep it tuned to VitaBoys for further details that get released.

News- New BlazBlue Rated For Vita

A new entry of the extremely popular fighter BlazBlue has been rated for the ps vita. BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma was rated earlier today.

ESRB ratings are usually a great way to tell that particular games will be releasing relatively soon. BlazBlue already has one game on the Vita and it is still popular today after having released a while back.

The game was also rated for the PS3 so there is potential for a cross-buy or cross-play capability. Until further details arise keep it tuned to VitaBoys.

News- Table Top Racing Heading To Vita This Spring

Playrise Digital and Ripstone have combined to bring Table Top Racing to the Vita. The game will be heading to the vita this spring.

In Table Top Racing players take control of some crazy outlandish vehicles, such as an ice cream truck, to race against competitors. As revealed by the name, players will use their AR cards on their tables to set up their track.

News- Flame Over Announced For Vita

Yet another indie game has been announced for the playstation vita. This time the game is a twin stick shooter called flame over.

However it is not really a shooter. In Flame Over you play as a fire fighter. You will use the twin stick mechanics to spray out fires. The fires are capable of spreading so you must quickly spray out the fires. 

The game is being developed by Laughing Jackal with a general release date of Q3 or Q4 of 2014. The game will also feature leaderboards. Stay tuned to VitaBoys for any updates involving Flame Over.

News- Binding of Isaac Rebirth Details

Lead designer Edmund Mcmillen announced today that "The Binding of Isaac Rebirth" is reaching the end of development. He also took the time to lay out a few details about the game.

The Binding of Isaac Rebirth is a remake of a flash based rogue-like game. This version adds many features including 150 new items, new bosses, new rooms, 3 new playable characters, and best of all 2 player local co-op.

News- Potential Borderlands 2 Release Date

Amazon has listed a release date of May 6th for Borderlands 2 ps vita. The same release date is also listed under the ps vita slim bundle.

We would take this release date with a grain of salt. Considering Amazon may not be the best source of game information. However it is likely that Borderlands 2 will definitely be launching within the next two months. So who knows, Amazon just might have it right.

News- Huge Vita Update

Sony has announced an update for the ps vita that was supposed to launch today. The update is labeled ps vita system software update 3.10.

The update brings some great features to the vita. The update allows voice messages to be sent between friends. It also allows up to a whopping 500 apps to be placed on the vita homescreen. The final feature of the update brings the ability to sync with google calendars. We assume this means a calendar will also be coming to the vita.

News- To Leave Coming To The Vita

Freaky Creations has announced a new game for the playstation vita called "To Leave". To leave will also be launching for the PS4.

In To Leave players are tasked with helping a young boy named Harm leave the city of Candice. The game is said to be an indie puzzler. We do not know much else about the game than this.

News- Titan Invasion To Be Two Seperate Titles

Curves Studios has announced today that they will be splitting Titan Invasion into two standalone titles. Originally the two games, Titans Attack and Revenge of The Titans were to be sold as one combined package.

The decision came early yesterday because Curve Studios wanted to allow PuppyGames (the porter) the neccessary time to create each game to the high standards of Curve Studios. 

We are not sure how this will affect the price of the games. We assume that originally they would have been $15 dollars together and now they will be $15 dollars each, however we have no way of knowing. We do know that the release dates have changed. Revenge Of The Titans will come this May, while Titans Attack has no release date.

News- Upside Down Dimensions Coming To Vita

Hydra Studios has announced a new title by the name of Upside Down Dimensions. The game is coming to several platforms including the ps vita. We know very little other than the game is a 3D paper craft styled game. Other than this we are quite clueless.

News- Doctor Kvorak To Come To Vita

Freekstorm, an independent game development company will be bringing their amazing game to the playstation vita. Doctor Kvorak was originally released on PC and various consoles, but the game would be perfect for the ps vita.

Doctor Kvorak is a 3rd-person adventure puzzle game. In the game you will need to traverse the doctor's ship to solve extremely complex puzzles to save your two alien friends, while avoiding traps. The best feature of the game is the level editor, that is right in Doctor Kvorak you will have the ability to create your own levels full of complex puzzles and traps to share with friends.

News- Dragon Fin Soup Coming To Vita

Another game has been announced for the Vita. This time it is a rogue like RPG in the form of Dragon Fin Soup.

Dragon Fin Soup Is compared to the likes of Secret Of Mana. The game is a fairly typical RPG, not that there is anything wrong with that at all. 

Dragon Fin Soup will feature crafting, fishing, hunting, and so many other features that make RPG games so amazing.

News- Every Future Borderlands Game To Come To Vita

Dave Lang of Iron Galaxy studios says that gearbox plans to bring every Borderlands game including and after Borderlands 2 to the Vita.

Dave Lang reportedly made this comment during an Interview with GiantBomb. If this news is true every Vita owner is probably rejoicing. We will do a little more digging and contact Dave Lang ourselves and a few other higher ups at GearBox and Iron Galaxy. Until then keep it tuned to VitaBoys.

News- Farming Simulator 2014 Confirmed For PS Vita

Last year Giants-Software released Farming Simulator for the playstation Vita. I personally played the demo and enjoyed it but never got around to playing the full version.

 

In December we messages Giants-Software about how they would feel about VitaBoys doing a review on Farming Simulator so late. Giants Software responded saying "why don't you hold off on your review, we have not announced it yet but we will be bringing a new farming simulator by the name of Farming Simulator 2014 to the Vita sometime in March/April"

So there you have it folks, the Playstation Vita should be getting a new farming simulator very soon thanks to Giants Software.

News- Many New Apps Coming To Vita

Over on the playstation blog Sony has announced that they will be bringing six new apps to the ps vita. Some are long over due, but hey better late than never. Find the full list below.

Extra- Free PS1 Classic (and PS4 DLC)

Sony has offered a way to pick up Resident Evil: Director's Cut PS1 classic for free, which works on the ps vita system.

The only catch is that you will need a ps3 in order to get the game so I hope you do. Heres the deal, go on PS Home and find an extremely large Vita in the community area. Once there go to the Vita and accept the challenge. The challenge is to find 8 hidden cards, once completed you are given a free code for the ps1 classic.

You can also earn free DLC codes for Planetside 2 and Warframe for the PS4 if you are interested in that. Please forgive me if this information is not 100% accurate because I do not have a PS3 and therefore could not verify this myself.

News- Aztez Coming To Vita

A new game was announced for the ps vita and ps4 called Aztez. The announcement came today via the Playstation Blog, by developers ColorBlind.

Aztez is a 2d almost colorless game, the only color comes from the blood of your enemies. Aztez is a mix of a fighter and a civilization management game. The game is described as difficult, fun, and most of replayable.

Not too much information was given on Aztez. We do not know of release date, price, cross buy, or cross save/play. When we get more info we will let you know.

Extra- Unit 13 and Thomas Was Alone Free For Ps Plus

This weeks upcoming ps plus lineup has officially been announced via the playstation blog.

Unit 13, a linear third person shooter meant to be played with friends, and Thomas Was Alone an amazing platformer featuring different shapes were both added to the instant games collection.

Both of these games are quite amazing, specifically Thomas Was Alone. So make sure to pick up both of these tomorrow when the store updates.

News- New Indie Horror Game Home Is Coming To Vita

A new 2D indie horror game has been announced for the playstation vita as well as the ps4. Home, was originally a highly acclaimed pc indie game.

Very few details were given about the premise of Home. However the developer did say it is meant to be played alone, and preferably in a dark scary place..... As if.

The game has not had any details announced such as price, or cross-buy. Obviously there is no cross play considering the game is single player. Keep it tuned to VitaBoys for any updates involving the ps vita.

News- How To Survive On Vita

505 Games top down survival horror game might be making its way to the playstation vita.

In How To Survive players are tasked with getting off an island filled with zombies. This means gathering supplies, and finding shelter just to survive the night.

The game originally launched on the PS3 and Xbox 360, however it would be absolutely perfect for the Vita. We found some DLC listed on the PS Vita's PSN store for the game, which you can find screenshots of below. We also have contacted 505 games and will let everyone know if there is any update. Sorcery Saga: Curse of The Great Curry God is an excellent game. Allow me to just go ahead and get that out of the way. I personally believe you should go ahead and quit reading this review and instead go purchase this game. It did not take me very much play-time before I realized that Curse of The Great Curry God was something special.

News- Final Horizon Announced For PS Vita

Eiconic Games has announced their next playstation vita game in the form of Final Horizon. A tower defense game featuring deadly bug-alien creatures.

In the game you will place towers (duh!) in order to destroy these creatures. You also can even call in air-strike kill streaks using satellites you place in the sky. 

We first heard about this unique game back at Gamescom. Now we have been given much more details. However we still do not know any information on the release date, price, or if it will launch for other platforms. Keep it tuned to VitaBoys for any occurring news.

News- Hyper Light Drifter Announced For Vita

 

The greenlit kickstarter funded game Hyper Light Drifter has officially been announced for the Playstation Vita.

In Hyper Light Drifter players are tasked with finding hidden secrets and lost technologies. There are also battles that occur in the game that are promised to be "lightning quick".

Hyper Light Drifter has no official release date, price, or much other info than a video of gameplay. The developers have a nice article featuring a lot of info over on the playstation blog, if you wanna check it out. We will keep you updated on any occurring news.

News- Race The Sun Announced For Vita

A new racing game has been announced for the playstation vita called Race The Sun. In it players are tasked with attempting to dodge obstacles in order to chase the setting sun, which with its rays, powers your vehicle.

The game was announced over on the playstation blog, with an extensive write up and a nice gameplay video.

News- Metrico Launches in Spring For Vita

The developers of Metrico have announced that the game will launch this spring for the playstation vita.

In Metrico players will solve puzzles, and platform, through many different info graphs and pie charts. The game is extremely unique. The developers also stated that they thought that with all the unique features the Vita has that they would make the game much more than a puzzler. So expect the game to use some unique features on the Vita.

The Playstation Blog has announced that Destiny of Spirits will be launching for playstation vita. Destiny of Spirits is described as an rpg-ish strategy game. Players will battle spirits that they capture with other players worldwide. Spirits are particular to certain areas of the world so it is important to have many friends all over the world in order to help you out in this game. 17-Bit has announced their new game coming to the playstation vita and ps4. Galak-Z is a randomly generated space shooter. 17-Bit said they took some inspiration from games like Spelunky and Don't Starve when it came to making this game. News- Foul Play Announced For Vita

Mediatronic has announced their new game, Foul Play, for the playstation vita. Foul Play is a 2d beat-em-up, where you are on a stage beating up oncoming enemies. This is Mediatronic's first game on the vita, other than a few ps mobile titles. The game will also release on the PS4 and feature cross-play. You can play co-op with a friend as well. There has been no official release date, price, or any news on cross-buy. Keep it tuned to VitaBoys for any new developments.

News- Conception 2 Demo Out This Month

Conception 2 will have a demo released on the playstation vita on March 25th. Conception 2 was originally released in Japan and will be released in North America on April 15th. The demo will allow players to carry over their saves to the full version, players will even gain unknown extra goodies for completing the demo. Apparently the demo even allows you to change your children into giant fighting robots. Yeah, we aren't %100 sure what this game is about, it is Japanese after all. Stay tuned for more details.

News- Akibas Trip 2 Coming To Vita

Akibas Trip 2 has been localized for North America thanks to X-Seed Games. Akibas Trip 2 is an open world game where you must go around killing demons by exposing their skin to sunlight. Yes, this means you have to strip the demons of their clothes. You also can visit over 100 real life shops in Japan. The game has no official release date or any info regarding cross-buy or cross-save. Many Vita owners have been calling for this game to be localized, and as usual X-Seed came to the rescue. News- PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate Announced

Double Eleven Studios has announced their next playstation vita game in the form of PixelJunk Shooters Ultimate. The game is a twin stick shooter that combines the two previous pS3 PixelJunk Shooters into one cohesive game. The game will also release on the PS4 where it will feature cross-play with the playstation vita. There is no news on cross-buy, but we did get a release date (of sorts) for this summer.

News- Fez Releases For Vita March 25th

Polytron has officially announced via the Playstation Blog that Fez will be releasing on March 25th for the Playstation Vita, as well as the PS4 and PS3. For those of you who do not know,  Fez is a 2.5D platformer. Fez will run at a native 720p with 60 frames per second on the Vita version, (yes this is good). Fez will aso be a part of Sony's Spring Fever discounts. So the game will launch at a discounted $12.99, or even cheaper for ps plus subscribers at $9.99. Fez will be cross buy with vita, ps3, and ps4.

Luftrausers will be launching on March 18th. The much anticipated game will be out for the vita and ps3 and will support cross buy. Luftrausers will launch at a discounted $9.99 for a week, it will be even cheaper for ps plus owners and be on sale at $7.99. We will keep you posted with any developing news.

SteamWorld Dig will be launching on the PS4 and Vita on March 18th in the U.S. The game will support cross buy, and will launch at a discounted price of $9.99, and will be $7.99 for ps plus subscribers.
