Aqua Kitty: Milk Mine Defender Headed To The PS Vita

Aqua Kitty originally launched as a PSM title a few years ago. Now the developers have decided to bring the title to the PS Vita store as a full fledged title in the form of Aqua Kitty: Milk Mine Defender. This news comes straight from Dugan Jackson, the director of TIKIPOD Ltd.

Aqua Kitty: Milk Mine Defender will be a completely overhauled version of the game you likely played in its original form. The development team said several things were added to the game for its upcoming launch. We have included the direct quote from the press release of key new additions below.

    • Extra directional fire options are really helpful, as they allow you to shoot down any aerial robo jellyfish attempting to abduct mining kittens.
    • Large mechanical Bosses guard the end of each area, and must be dispatched of course to progress onward.
    • Perhaps you feel the normal game mode is too hard for you? No problem, there is now an optional easy mode campaign.
    • Arcade mode adds a fantastic, all-new twist to the core gameplay. Imagine it like a blend of arcade classics Gradius and Defender. You collect special gems which can be used to purchase your power-up upgrades.
Aqua Kitty: Milk Mine Defender will be hitting the PS Vita as well as the PS4 later this month. The game will very likely be a great buy, however the exact price details haven't been announced as of yet. We do know that the game will, like most others, be cross-buy allowing for 1 purchase for both systems.

Get Off My Lawn Headed To The PS Vita on November 11th

Digital Leisure has officially announced that their newest title, "Get Off My Lawn" will be headed to the PS Vita on November 11th. This adds another game to the store lineup on November 11th that fans had no idea would even be headed to the system in the first place.

Get Off My Lawn pits players as Murray Mendelson, a man who just happened to wake up to an alien invasion overtaking his home. You are armed with just a musket and must defend your home against all odds in this fast paced and endless arcade shooter. The game also allows players to collect alien orbs to upgrade weaponry, and even offers various powerups such as "Sound Wave", "Cane Time", and "Infuriate."

Get Off My Lawn lauches on the PS Vita and various other mobile devices on November 11th, it is also presumably a free title. However no concrete details have been given on the price of the game. Look for Get Off My Lawn on November 11th alongside the launch of Retro City Rampage DX on your PS Vita.

Retro City Rampage DX Hits The PS Vita November 11th

VBlank Entertainment headed over to the official Playstation Blog to announce that not only will Retro City Rampage DX be coming to the PS Vita, but it will be on the system next week. Retro City Rampage originally launched on the PS Vita a few years back and achieved massive success on the system, both through sales and the PS Plus promotion that occurred a few months after its release.

Retro City Rampage DX is basically an overhaul of the original Retro City Rampage that lauched in 2012. The game will feature many new improvements including smaller improvements such as faster vehicles, enhanced visuals, and improved difficulty and challenges. The bigger improvements will include parking garages, ability to hijack weapons, a jukebox, a better trophy system, and so much more. The developers called it "a top-to-bottom remastering of just about everything."

Retro City Rampage DX will launch on November 11th with a measly price of $9.99, or $7.99 for PS Plus members. The game is definitely worth the small price for some huge improvements. Also fans can buy one version of Retro City Rampage DX and recieve the PS Vita, PS4, and PS3 versions while only paying once. So keep an eye out on November 11th for this revamped classic on the PS Vita store!
